  Does anybody know the story on the Loma Linda restaurant off Griggs Road across from Palm Center? When it started or when it closed? It's been long gone.

  Just found this on B4-u-eat.com My wife and I have been going to Loma Linda since the late 1960 s when we were students at UH. Way back then, we always went to the location close to the old Palm Center shopping center. When it closed in the 1970 s we assumed all had closed. However, within a few years we found out that the Telephone location was still open. Now we both teach at UH and eat at Loma Linda two, three, and sometimes four times a week. The food is as good as it gets, the price is right, and the service is friendly. There are lots of Mexican food restaurants in Houston and we have tried most of them. Loma Linda is always our Mexican food restaurant of choice.
