All clients referred to my practice under Better Access Mental Health Care Plan will be bulk billed through Medicare. There is no out of pocket expense incurred by the client. For a client to fit in this category your GP must refer you through Better Access should they feel you fit the criteria.
If your GP feels you do not fit the criteia under mental health he will will refer you under normal counselling. The fees for counselling will be charged at my normal rate per hour. Discounted rates for health care card holders and pensioners.

I am offering to travel to local towns in the southwest, to visit clients who are unable to see me. This is only if the client has issues to transport or being medically unwell. This will only be offered after I have seen the client at my practice for the first session or via phone consult.

For your information if your service provider is asking you to pay extra it's because they charge above the schedule fee. You are all entitled to 10 sessions per annum under bulk billing through Medicare. I don't charge my clients anything so no out of pocket expense incurred by client.
