About us
Why Pet Sitting? It allows your pet to experience their home environment while you are away. Being in the home eases separation anxiety. A kennel is a cage and your dog is used to living in a home. Kenneling causes anxiety and may disrupt your dog’s normal feeding, sleeping and exercise routine. Dogs love home even more than the park. A dog in a kennel does not know that you are coming back for them. A dog at home feels safe and secure.
Pet Sitting is ideal for the cat whose owner is away. Cats do not do well in cages. The constant barking that occurs in kennels can frighten cats. Most cats are suspicious of strangers and unfamiliar environments. The stress caused by being “abandoned” in a kennel, handled by strangers, and surrounded by noise causes a great deal of anxiety for cats. Furry People recognizes that cats are sensitive beings who cherish home, stability, quiet, and the familiar.
Daily Home Visits Include:
Yard-time/potty break for dogs
Special attention or cuddle time
Scoop litter box
Feed and refresh water bowls
Water plants
Bring in mail and newspapers
Rotate lights and blinds
We offer daily visits for dogs, cats, and small animals at the following rates:
20-minute visit: $15.00
30-minute visit: $20.00
Our Promise:
** Furry People will ALWAYS be there when we say we will. Ask about our CHECK-IN Service!
** Furry People never uses car signs or t-shirts that alert your neighbors that you are away.
** Furry People does not use hourly employees or contractors. You will meet your pet sitter before the job begins.
** Furry People understands above all the need for privacy and security. Ask about our key and file security practices.
