She has experience working at a therapeutic riding center, so when Bryan gets cleared for back in the saddle riding, she has the experience I will want to help him along. ________________________________________________________ My son is handicapped ( but able bodied ) and going to start taking ground work, lunging and ground driving lessons at a therapeutic riding center in New Egypt. Because he recently had a cluster of seizures, he isn't cleared to resume riding lessons in saddle. He and I have an amazing 24yo OTTB that we want to take lessons on at OUR barn. He was a 17 year schoolmaster so he knows his job... I need to relearn mine. I am looking to work on my W/T and I wish to do trail classes with him next year and my son, Bryan, is hoping to also do inhand/showmanship with him. I have a trainer, but she is unable to work with us at OUR barn because her schedule is maxed out. Anyone willing to work with us will need to be 'approved' by her ( because she is also my best friend and worries about my son like a second mom ) I am boarded in Galloway and the facility has a wonderful sand arena to work with me and a grass arena that has ground poles, posts and cones set up already. I just want us both to be trained correctly as opposed to just winging it.
