The reason, he is absolutely horrible. I hired to defend me in court for a crime I was not guilty of. Paid thousands of dollars for services and in the end he tricked me into accepting a pleabargin made by the prosecutors. Paid for no service as it turns out. I was naive and lacked legal knowledge so I needed a trust worthy attorney but instead I got him. He made me believe that Texas's deffered adjudication was just like winning the case and he made me believe that my criminal records would be clean after completing it. Both turned out to be far from the truth. Other attoneys I have spoken with since told me my case was an easy win, all the evidence available was to my benefit. But Gould convinced me the Deffered adjudcation was my best choice. But as it turns out, it is the same thing as admitting you are guilty and you will always have a felony on crimial records. It kept me out of jail by that's it. I paid Gould nearly 5,000 to accept a freakin pleabargin. Be very, very careful if you are like I was at the time, meaning without much knowledge of the legal system and naive because he take advantage of that and rip you off. Keith Gould himself has even been indicted for felony barraty, just search his name on google and see for yourself.
