I was a tenant in a local commercial building, and my property was damaged during the fire and preceding days, in part due to negligence in building maintenance. The leasor has just informed me that I will not be getting my deposit back, let alone any compensation for property damage. I need to consult with someone to discuss my options. I am extremely sad to do this, and I DO NOT WANT to deal with anyone seeking to take advantage of this situation via unnecessary litigation.
