If you are looking for a fun, safe and familiar place for your child to learn and play, let Compass Educational Programs help navigate the path for you.Compass offers preschool as well as before- and after-school care on school campuses. Our goal is to provide each child with high-quality learning in a loving Christian environment. Our programs strive to be an extension of the family setting, designed to give parents a support system, educational choice and peace of mind.
Preschool
For ages 3-5
The preschool program focuses on educating the whole child through varied, purposeful experiential learning: Spiritual. Students gain an understanding of the love of God. Prayer and daily Bible lessons include hands-on activities. Emotional and Social. Through routine and structure, students create relationships with teachers and other children. They learn to practice self-control, interact positively, express emotions with words, and resolve conflicts. Intellectual. Students increase their understanding of the world through science, math, reading readiness and language acquisition. Physical. Students grow their strength and coordination through gross (muscle tone and range of motion) and fine motor skills (manipulating small objects, eye-hand coordination, writing), as well as tactile and kinesthetic (sensory learning).
Before- and After-School Care
For preschool and elementary school-aged students
Emphasizing the spiritual, intellectual and social development of students, Compass complements the learning already occurring at schools to further educate, inspire and equip students so they become serving leaders and lifelong learners. At Compass, our students: Build strong values through our extensive character development program. Enjoy time with friends. Work on homework and strengthen academic skills through tutoring and collaborative learning. Read books and participate in story time. Create through arts and crafts. Play outdoors.
