  I was in the Nueces Cafe in Calallen this week and there was an old newspaper article on the wall about how Tuloso-Midway got its name. It was the combination of two existing schools. Midway school was so named because it was located mid way between Calallen and Corpus Christi. Tuloso School was named after Tule Lake and Oso Creek. No one knows the actual date the two schools were combined to form TM. Any ideas???
