About us
My love for photography started when my Aunt Nancy bought me a pink digital camera. Some of my best shots were taken with my first SD card. Then as I began to immerse myself in photography I wanted to get a new camera which my parents bought me for Christmas. Once I entered High School I was disappointed that I could not take photography when I was a Freshman. Once I was a Junior I took the class and it was my favorite class. I noticed that I began to grow as a photographer by knowing how to develop film and creating a print. I would be in the darkroom everyday. I went through a whole packet of photo paper in a few months. I established a very close relationship to my photography teacher. I miss her very much and want to keep in contact with her because she helped me grow so much. I also received a DSLR from my parents which is amazing. I now have 3 lenses including the one that came with it. I am saving up for a wide angle lens.
I believe that connecting people to my photography will build a fan base. I received 2 second-place photography awards in Vernon Earthfest along with a third place. I earned the Senior Student Art Award my senior year of high school. I am majoring in photography in college right now. Next semester I am taking 2 photography classes. I still do not know what type of photography I want to do. I take mostly nature and landscape pictures. I am trying to take different types of pictures.
