Radiant is stating \~$3,409.00 for new evaporator coil, $6,733 for new evaporator coil and condenser or \~$8k for a new unit and furnace. Our unit is about 15 years old. Do these prices seem inflated or on the mark? I already googled average prices for 2019 and they seem to be on the high end but I know the COL in Austin is higher. Appreciate any info, recommendations or lampoons TIA
Bernie2020yall replied:We used GreenLeaf HVAC https://www.greenleafhvac.net/ Technician was on time, polite, clean cut and knew his stuff. New AC system blows snowballs and our electric bill is much improved. We had Fox Service and ABC home services out to quote too since we had prior experience and liked them both, but found Fox and ABC to be very expensive. Greenleaf is on par with Fox and ABC in skill and customer service but way more affordable while still being reputable and fully bonded licensed and all that important stuff.
