  if you like the idea of getting at the cause of any pain/injury instead of tx or chasing away symptoms temporarily- may want to have Precision Physical Therapy assessment-they are expensive ($150 initial assessment & $100 each follow up session, they usually help you to help yourself in 3 or less visits)They commonly get you on the right track with very specific exercises related to the 'CAUSE' of any musculoskeletal issue, in 3 or less (sometimes just 1 visit) visits, phone 464-8200, they have locations near 41 st ave & at Cabrillo college.   HI Karin, my name is Brianne and I am a physical therapist and a bella of course. I am in the process of starting a cycling clinic in santa cruz at my friends clinic for injuries like the one your friend has. His clinic is called Precision Health and Rehab. The best thing to do is to get a referral from her primary care physician. He takes PPO's and cash patients. Most PT's are better at diagnosing and treating than sports medicine doctors. By the time it takes to get in and see one, your friend can be half way to recovery. let me know if your friend is interested.
