  Does anyone one know where I would find anyone in Ireland/ UK who does advanced/ specific training that would work with me & current blind tiny 2.5kg 8 year old poodle or introduce new dog to mix. The waiting lists for dog for assistance dogs is too long & quality is poor of guide dogs of Ireland, I've seen it first hand as a vet nurse. I have developed an extremely rare neurological syndrome, Stiff Person Syndrome, attacks cause muscle spasms & rigidity. Its a 1-in-million chance of development, approx 100 in UK alone. I dont want to approach seeking assistance dog as they wont be able to train without seeing my spasms & I dont want to not be a part of the training. I enjoy a challenge & thoroughly believe in positive reinforcement based methods! which is why I need to get a name of someone who would wish to work someone with a rare disease before International rare disease day on February 28th!! ;) :) :P Thanks in advance for any help!!
