Hi all, am looking for some advice, hope I've come to the right place! anyone any experience with a baby who has seemingly forgotten how to latch on? I've a 4 week old who started out great but for the last few days has been super fussy and having difficulty feeding. She's constantly hungry but pushing away from the breast in frustration and unable or unwilling to latch on right. Wind possibly a factor but must be something else too? Time to speak to a lactation consultant??

Get comfy, chill and have some skin to skin with no pressure for baby to latch. Laid back position can be nice and relaxing for you both <3 helping with both wind and reigniting suckling . Happy to chat my no. Is 087 741 7448 :)
Hi all, in need of advice from lactation consultant, hopefully today or tomorrow, any recommendations? Know tis a bad time, being the bank holiday weekend, but think I will need help before Tuesday. Thanks.

Girls, I'm still having trouble with Freyja latching on (she 12 days old). Do you know a lactation consultant that would call to my house today to help me out (Dublin 7)?
Thanks

My sister is in Cork CUMH post c-section. Very bad cracked nipples. Baby is vomiting lots of blood. Paed has checked him and said its just from the nipples and recommending formula! She bf her other 2 babies but is in lots of pain. Says he has great latch and she doesn't want to interfere eith that but finding it really hard tonight. I'm in Dublin so don't know Citk Cuidiu etc. Does anyone have number of lactation consultant in Cork city or Cuidiu bf counsellor who wouldn't mind taking a call tomorrow?
