Does anybody know of a lender that would take this situation under consideration? Also can possibly make a $5000 down payment. Any help would be appreciated.Connie E. replied:Al Mccammon if the bankruptcy is at least 3 yrs old then they may be able to qualify but if it was in the the last 3 years they will have to wait until the 3 years are up. I found this out when I got my mortgage! But I can recommend a great mortgage company, if they cant get them appoved then they are gonna have a hard time.
