  Jeff W. wrote: Had Gary Brooks at Brooks Repair do some body work on my Subaru to remove some rusty spots and weld in new metal for painting that was going to be done elsewhere. He quoted $1,000. for the work after looking it over carefully to make sure he had his cost covered. I accepted his offer. Picked up the car a little over a week later and was shocked to see that Gary had put two bolts, with the heads exposed on the outside, to attach each side of the rear bumper to the frame. Also, in rebuilding the two quarters with new metal where he had cut out the rust, the drivers side quarter was a completely different shape than the passenger side. Also, Gary didn't re-attach the rocker covers and they were sitting in the car. Gary Brooks has absolutely no idea what he is doing and takes no responsibility for his work. Take your car ANYWHERE BUT Brooks Repair!!!!!!

  Yes. Gary Brooks, Brooks mechanics 952-925-4392 He's in St. Louis Park near Methodist hospital. There's another excellent one down in Apple Valley near the zoo. He works on "high end" cars.
