  I’m wondering if anyone has a dog trainer or behaviorist to recommend? Or even tips that have helped if you’ve been in this situation with your dog. One of our dogs (10 month old rescue that we have had for months) has always had high anxiety and is very tentative around people she doesn’t know and will duck away when they attempt to pet etc. She is also very nervous around other dogs even after constantly socializing her and taking her to the dog park. When walking on leash she is always nervous while walking past other dogs and I can tell by her body language that she’s very on edge. A few weeks ago I was walking her through my neighborhood on leash and another dog jumped out of his owners car and attacked her. They got in a terrible brawl and ever since then whenever we pass a dog while she is on leash it’s like she has a huge breakdown, jumping all around, lunging, barking etc and I’m unable to calm her down until the dog is way out of sight. I’m not sure what to do about this so anything helps. Tia!

  I do private lessons, one on one with you and your dog to make sure you are both getting exactly what you need out of the training sessions. I charge $60/lesson for 3 or fewer lessons, or $50/lesson of you want 4 or more.
