  Dilworth Animal Hospital, Southend Vet Clinic, or Animal Medical Hospital? Looking for a vet for my golden retriever. I would like a place with a decent number of vets and/or good appointment availability incase I need a day of appointment, fairly priced, don’t want to feel like just another patient they’re rushing to get done with, and would love if they were especially familiar with Golden’s. The one I’m coming from has Golden’s of his own. These seemed to be some of the more recommended ones so would like some final thoughts!

  Looking for a good/fair vet for my pupper. Good morning Charlotte, My dog got into a small altercation yesterday and ended up damaging her carpal pad pretty bad. My girlfriend and I have cleaned and bandaged it but we’re pretty sure she’s going to need surgery/stitches. Relatively new to Charlotte so we haven’t found a vet yet and I was hoping to get some recommendations from the good people! I found place in Charlotte but not sure if they will provide me services since we don't live in Mecklenburg. Can anyone give me any suggestions?   We have used Long Animal Hospital for years - Dr. Wittmann or Dr. James. Dr. Wittmann is awesome; he's taken very good care of our pets. Dr. James has also treated them and she's wonderful, as well. They are professional, reasonable and actually listen to you about your pet. I gauge my vets the same way I gauge my friends - would I want to hang out with this person outside of a professional environment. http://www.longanimal.com

  Hi Lisa, this depends on the area but we have a dog business Metro Paws in the Southend area. We do boarding, day care and grooming. We have used Long Animal hospital on South Blvd. 704-523-2996. We have also used East Lincoln Animal Hospital out in Denver on Highway 73. Hope this helps
