  Hiya Neighbors, does anyone know Grace Slezak or Roni Epstein? I received a folded printed letter in my mailbox from them. In the letter it states that they are fighting the villa project and will need to retain a lawyer. In order to do this they are requesting that we drop off or mail checks to an address on Rooney Court. Check should be made to a Coalition Against the Villa Project ??? I also notices that neither seems to be a part of this group.

  Well if interested enough I would call them or email and ask those questions. And what kind of a group sends out a letter look for donations without I being on a letter head? Do they mention who belongs to this group besides them? Do they mention the name of the attorney they have agreed on or how money raised would be spent? I actually believe you cannot solicit money like that in Glen Cove without a permit. I would call City Hall 516-676-2000. I am not saying they are not legitimate but that is not how money is raised for any group.
