CERTIFICATION: I am a certified makeup artist who has been practicing makeup on clientele for over 5 years. I also have some experience in makeup for the theater. I am certified by Last Looks Makeup Academy out of Los Angeles for bridal makeup and makeup for television and film. I worked part time for Sephora from 2009-2014. In that time, I was certified by the Sephora Pro Team to practice full-face make overs.
PRODUCTS: Because of my diverse experience and training, I am not married to a particular brand of makeup or tools. I find excitement in trying makeup from everywhere. While I have grown fond of many of the brands that I've worked with at Sephora over the years, I also love the thrill of finding quality products at the local drugstore. I have products ranging in my kit from Wet 'n Wild and CoverGirl up to Dior and Marc Jacobs. I also work with a Temptu airbrush system.
WHAT I OFFER: I am a free lance artist. I do not work with or out of a salon. That means I am free to come to you. I can travel locally to work with you for your wedding or photo shoot. I have packages for long-wearing liquid foundation or a package that includes airbrush foundation instead. I offer discounts for groups of 3 or more and am practiced in false eyelash application. (Note: NOT eyelash extensions.) I can be willing to travel to neighboring areas (Bloomington, Champaign, Springfield, etc.) for an extra mileage fee.
I LOVE being able to teach people how easy makeup can be! If you are interesting in 'tutoring' session or just have questions, please ask! I am flexible.
I do work full time during the week, so am limited in weekday appointments. But the more time to plan ahead, the better!
