About us
Hi there! I'm Shannon, and I began Captured Photography and Design after a lifelong obsession for photography. With over 20 years experience behind the camera, in my opinion, there is no better place to capture the moment than outdoors, so I choose to shoot predominantly outside, in natural light wherever possible! I've found that everyone is happier and more relaxed outdoors...and that equates to amazing images!
With a focus on natural backdrops with minimal artificial lighting, I shoot far and wide! I love to travel so I'm always scouting exciting new locations to shoot in. From the beaches of Victoria, to the city laneways of Melbourne and the stunning country backdrops of Gippsland....even as far as my sun drenched second home of Bali, my camera is never far from my hand! It's a passion, and one that I love to share with others. To me, this isn't a "job", it's a lifestyle that I love!
I insist on having FUN with my clients at every shoot. With a relaxed approach at capturing images that reflect who you are, not just what you look like, and a belief that your own unique personality should shine through every image, this is not "smile and say cheese" photography. It's not staged, it's relaxed - just as it should be! Each image is professionally edited to showcase you at your very best. The editing is half the fun for me in this exciting digital age, and is where I get to be creative! FUN is what it's all about, and I guarantee that your photo shoot will be a wonderful experience...I promise to get even the most serious among us smiling at your shoot!

A 50% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING WITH THE REMAINDER PAID ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE PHOTOSHOOT. SPECIAL DISCOUNTED PACKAGES AND PROMOTIONAL VOUCHERS ARE TO BE PAID FOR UPFRONT AND IN FULL. SHOULD A BOOKING BE CANCELLED FOR ANY REASON, A VOUCHER WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE AMOUNT ALREADY PAID. PLEASE NOTE THAT NO MONETARY REFUNDS ARE GIVEN ON PAYMENTS MADE.
