  Will be moving to area--any recommendations for places that will watch your dog for the day (i.e., "doggie day care")? Moving to the area in June. We've gotten some vet recommendations, but don't know about "doggie day care" services in the area. Our current vet's office happened to offer it, but haven't come across something similar in New Haven yet. Preferably, hoping to find something around East Rock or Orange.   Taryn, We daycare and sometimes overnight our dog Phoebe at "A Dogs Life" on Hamilton Street (a 5 minute drive from East Rock). Amy (ADL) is very conscientious and has fair prices (203) 624-0477. Your dog must be preregistered with some paperwork to insure proper vaccination. We have also used Elm City Kitty who does various level of house call care for cats and dogs. Robin (ECK) is very professional and thoughtful (203) 668-6798.
