New name, same dedication to serving you. MEN IN BLACK (formally) The Music Box, is a company with over 17 years experience in providing DJ entertainment. MEN IN BLACK, will work with you because we are working for you. We give attention to detail that will make your event memorable and enjoyable.
We have provided exciting entertainment around the Chicago area. At such historical venues as The Patrick Haley Mansion, and The Jacob Henry Mansion. Beautiful and elegant places like Dinolfo’s and The Willowbrook Ballroom, The former Como Inn in downtown Chicago, to a penthouse overlooking Lake Michigan as fireworks lit the sky over Navy Pier.
MEN IN BLACK will make your event one that all your guests will walk away with a smile and a satisfaction of being entertained. If your event is in your back yard or down on the family farm, we’ve done them all and will make your event your day.
Your event is our priority. We will customize a playlist with the songs you would like played. MEN IN BLACK will be your MC for the event. We will arrive early to setup and check equipment to make sure everything is in place and working before your guests arrive. If it is our first time at a venue, we will visit the establishment a week prior to your event, to work out all the logistics so that all will go smooth on the day of your event
For weddings MEN IN BLACK will fulfill all requested special dances, the garter and bouquet toss along with introduction of the wedding party and all other guests of honor. We like the bride and groom to be the center of attention and allow the music along with the atmosphere to play an important part of the celebration. We also will be there to motivate your guests to celebrate your special day.
We use equipment by Peavy, Mackie, Chavet, Gemini, Stanton, Dell and Apple. We have a music library with over 15,000 songs and is constantly being updated.
