Thank you for visiting Wunderking Gallery. This page will give you insight into one of my many loves in life: Capturing moments in time and making the memories of life last forever.
You could describe my photography style as a natural-light (although I'm learning the art using artificial light to mimic natural light), somewhat photojournalistic approach...capturing those real moments in real life, unscripted, unexpected in the natural, cozy settings of life. Gaze through my portfolio. You'll find moments and moods that transcend words, and you'll want some of your own to frame!
Now, to explain the name "Wunderkind Gallery." My husband and I spent the first five years of our marriage on the road raising support to be missionaries in the country of Germany. Because of the length of time it took to raise our support, we were advised to resign. Germany is still on our hearts and minds, and we wanted to keep it in front of us in any way we could. "Wunderkind" is German for "Wonder Child." It's a simple and meaningful way to remember Germany and also describes my love for photographing babies and children...every parent's child is their very own "wonder child" and I want to bring that to life for them by way of my photography.
