  I'm on a mission! I have been working as an NCT antenatal teacher for eight years, have been a doula for three years and can't get a place to study midwifery. If the NHS need more midwives, they should be training more midwives. I would be happy to pay for my training but the NHS has a monopoly over the training in this country. It is a vicious circle! Are there any organisations I can get in touch with regarding this? Anyone know a way of training as a midwife without going through the NHS system?
