I am definitely not a gal who just accepts a diagnosis (especially an expensive one) and hands over the checkbook if it seems questionable. I need to know if anyone has a tried and true auto mechanic that they can recommend, who is not only honest, but reasonable in their prices, Will discuss with me personally the options and other potential causes, and is really knowledgable about cars.   I took my car in for AC repair to Craig Johnson 480-963-0264. I felt like he was upfront with me and fixed my AC at a reasonable price. I did have him talk with my dad b/c I'm clueless about cars but even when I talked with him I felt like he talked to me not down/at me. The only "downside" is he works from his home and it can take a few days for parts. He is off of Gilbert & Williamsfield
