  Looking for some recommendations for contractors from all of you awesome people! (This really is a great site). 1. We want to finish our basement - it's large, it's insulated but that's it... never was finished. It needs everything from electrical to walls to flooring. 2. We are doing a complete bathroom reno in the ensuite. Replacement of everything - tub out, vanity and toilet gone, new tiled floor and walk-in shower built and updated vanity and fixtures. If you've had similar work done and have recommendations for either of these types of projects, we would appreciate it. I am interested in professionals and not the lowest bidder/handyman type. Willing to have two different contractors, one for each job. We live on Ida St S in a newer home. Thanks!!

  I paid someone to retile the backsplash in my bathroom, it looks like crap. I had another person lined up to redo the tiles and he did not show. I have a history of picking the wrong person!! I need someone to come in, re tile, paint bathroom, it's just the main floor powder room so not huge. Please give me a reliable person, so far between my kitchen and this bathroom both have been re done 3 times due to poor choices. Not impressed so far by local contractors.
