  Hi there, I wanted to ask a question I was hoping someone could direct me to the right person to talk with. My family has had a long extensive history with Children's in overseeing the major care of my brother. In fact, I just had the pleasure last year of writing for the Thriving Blog about our amazing care and the staff there, but I wanted to verify something. We were told at the time, that because we'd been seen there, we would be able to be treated there for life if that was a choice we'd made. My brother was obviously seen extensively, and I only outpatient, but I'm now looking for a hospital facility to call home for a PCP, along with my specialtists and I'm still very young but over the "adult" bracket that's usually classified. I've done a lot of research on what Children's has to offer in regards to the care I will continue to need, and I'm trying to find out if i may be able to make appointments and recieve care there as I am going to be shortly moving down to the area. If someone could direct me in the right direction, hopefully via a private message that would be appreciated. Thanks!

  I think most hospitals in the US that treat NB can do stem cell transplant with donor stem cells. You should trying contacting some of the major hospitals that treat NB. One of the major ones is CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) 267-426-0762, You can try CHLA (Children's Hospital of Los Angeles) 323-660-2450, Texas Children's Hospital 832-824-1000, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center 513-636-4200, Children’s Hospital Boston 617-355-6000, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 901-595-3300. I hope one of them can help you and we wish all the best for your child. No child should have to fight this cancer and especially not 3 times!
