At SkinDeep Studios, our client’s comfort and safety is always foremost in our minds. To put your mind at ease, and in order to better inform you about the safety of our treatments, we strongly suggest you read the following before undergoing a treatment.
Which machine do you use, and where are they imported from?
In recent years, the amount of unregulated, poor quality IPL/Laser machine imports has risen. However, at Skindeep, we use Lynton IPL/Laser machines. Lynton are the UK’s leading manufacturer and provider of laser and IPL systems for medical and cosmetic clinics. Lynton have also been accredited by the UKAS, an organization which assesses the quality and competence of products and companies (amongst other things).
Where are your service providers based? Do you have insurance for your machine(s)?
Our service providers are based in the UK, which means that any problems with our machine or general enquiries you or we may have can be put to rest, with support just a telephone call away. Our machines are all insured with BABTAC.
Are you trained in using this machine?
All our technicians undergo training with a Lynton Trainer. We advise that you ask your technician personally before you undergo a treatment for maximum reassurance.
Do you have liability insurance to treat me?
We advise you ask your technician this personally.
Is your company regulated by the Care Quality Commission?
Yes.
