  Hi Rob Uwish. That's unusual. Sylvie or Julie who work in the office are always there. I have Dr. Lacroix at the same place. Dr. Barkley came into his practice a short while ago. I don't believe they close the office for that long. Do you have the correct phone number, perhaps? 613-538-2710.

  Hi Tara-Rose Kaddie. I am a fellow stroke survivor and my specialists were in Ottawa as well. My stroke occurred 4-years-ago. My family doctor is in Moose Creek (Dr. Daniel Lacroix) at the Moose Creek Medical Centre who is great with me regarding follow-up appointments, etc. He has a female colleague named Dr. Sarah Barkley who I believe is taking new patients. My doctor and Dr. Sarah really get the ball rolling, if you know what I mean. Both are great to listen to a patient and always accommodating. Worth a try: 613-538-2710.

  Can anyone here help me? My husband has medical issues, and his family doctor in Ottawa (As that is where he used to live) would like for him to be followed by a family doctor here in Cornwall. It has been over 2 years now that we are trying to find one. He is diabetic, heart disease, etc. I have called the centre de l'estrie, and they told me to call Dr. Nazai (spelling?) but they are not taking any new patients. :( Does anyone know which family doctor is taking in new patients?   Dr. Sarah Barkley at Moose Creek Medical Centre. Her telephone number is 613-538-2710. My family doctor is there also....Dr. Daniel Lacroix. There is another doctor at this same clinic, however, his name escapes me at the moment. If you call, the office staff can tell you. I have seen Dr. Barkley when my doctor is away or busy with another patient. They are both very good doctors.....have had Dr. Lacroix for over six years now.......always accommodating.
