  Anyone know of a licensed electrician in the Metairie area that could possibly come out today? I was in the laundry room and heard this static pop like come from the tv or speakers. Then I smelled something like it was burning. So I called 911 and then wrangled the dogs outside (which is not good when mommy is panicked because then they run inside to hide) and they came and checked everything but didn't find anything so they flipped off the powerful breakers and said call an electrician.
