After building custom homes for over 20 yrs in Florida, a state with the strictest standards in the country (thanks to hurricanes) I have found that there is a strong demand for quality builders in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.
The reason for the demand is because there have been no real building standards, codes and regulations until 2008 (Over 100 yrs). Before 2008 anyone could build and it did not matter whether you had the experience or not.
I am certain you are very aware of the lack of quality that went into building homes especially if you have had to pay for any type of repair.
