TIA.Marcia F. replied:I think what we are all saying Etti, is that you must go to two different doctors for what you want. You see an eye doctor (ophthalmologist) in Maccabi to have your medical eye check up, but to a different doctor (optometrist) for glasses and lenses. My current ophthalmologist is Dr. Applebaum at the Gdud Haivri Clinic@02-5612139. I like him, he seems thorough. And there are many good optometrists at the glasses places. There is a pricey but excellent one with stores on HaPalmach and Emek Refaim. Also the one at the top of Ben Yehuda & King George is good...the same place you get tested for your driver's license.
