  I just recently moved to this area. I'm looking for a small place to hold an engagement party and a baby shower. Two separate events on different days. I don't want a large place, just a small room and I'd like it to be close by, so that I don't have to travel a lot to set it up. I already work in Houston and do too much driving, as well as a lot of traveling with my job. Also need to find a caterer and a cake or desserts. Having trouble finding someone reliable. We were stood up on our last cake order and had to run to Walmart at the last minute. Anyway, any recommendations?

  Kristine, if you want BBQ then Kenefick Pit is a good choice. If you want some other kind of food catered I suggest Cole's Custom Catering at 936-776-6256.
