About us
My name is Sherrie Smith and i am a mum to 3 children.They are aged 19, 17 and 13. I started Sherrie's Family Daycare in 2013 and i absolutely love what i do and i am very passionate about what i do.
Sherrie's Family Daycare is registered with Kids at Home.
CCB and CCR Registered.
First Aid,CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxsis certified, aswell as having my Bluecard. Training in safe Food Handling and Hygiene, Child Protection and Guiding/Support Children's Positive Behaviour.
I also do Additional training throughout the year.
I am a qualified teacher's aide and I have my cert 111 in children's services.
I believe it is important for children to grow and show their creative side with indoor and outdoor play and believe art and crafts are also creative.
I strive to make sure families feel comfortable and safe and to have a happy, healthy, clean and safe environment at all times.
I strive to provide the children with plenty of variety that is inclusive and have a balance of indoor and outdoor play.
I believe open communication with families is a must and i will strive to be open, honest and i strive for excellence within my Day Care and focus on positive outcomes at all times.
I strive to provide every child in care a happy learning experience daily, where children will be helped to become confident and creative individuals.
I supply morning and afternoon tea.
