  Recommendations for moving services in the area Like the title says, I'm looking for recommendations on local movers. We are on a pretty tight budget, and most quotes have been 500+ for a 1600sqft home moving less than 15 minutes away. Just wondering if anyone has used anyone that was more reasonable, but still trustworthy, or if I'm just stuck paying 500-700 for a three hour job.

  Any recommendations for a furniture mover? I need a company to disassemble a king sized bed, transport it about 8 miles, and reassemble it. They will NOT have to move mattresses. They will also need to move two medium sized end tables. This isn't a huge job, so I want to avoid the high prices of the large commercial movers.
