  Are there any electricians out there that can tell me what could have caused this? Outside outlet that was not being used and only had 2 outlets inside that were used on same circuit, fuse & GCFI outlet did not trip. Feeling fortunate today that it was noticed immediately. Outlet was original to house (10 years old), no burned wires except on receptacle contact and no damage inside outlet box.
