  2 questions! -------------- Hi Canberra Mums, I have 2 questions! Firstly, we are jut about to launch our Property Management business and are looking for referrals for great tradespeople - we will need everyone but a plumber - so if you know any terrific licenced trades looking for some work - please post below. Also we are looking for a mum or babysitter available during daytime hours on a M,T,W just on a casual basis if we need to go out to an appointment at short notice to look after our beautiful 6 moth old, preferably the Kaleen/ Belconnen area.   Andy is a licensed Builder, and bricklayer we have relocated back to Canberra in the last 12 months, and are still trying to establish some solid work here. It would be worth having a meeting with him. He is very particular providing good quality work and focuses on energy efficiency where possible.   Granny flat / Cabin advice ----------- Hi CMs Does anyone have recent experience in erecting a granny flat or cabin on their suburban property? We are looking at doing this. Initially it would be for guests / the man cave, but down the track we'd love to use it for our teenage children. We have plenty of space and an existing double garage on a slab that we could knock down. Ideally we'd like it plumbed, with a bathroom and possibly a kitchenette. Would be grateful for any advice or experiences. Who would you recommend? Approx cost? How did you get started? Did anyone use a kit home package and have a local builder erect? Thanks CMs.

  Tradies needed ----- We are in the beginning stage of a reno and are after some tradies for various things. We aren't quite ready to do all of the jobs right now but are happy to use the same person for all them. We're after an electrician who is happy to come and do some small jobs (that will probably add up to a fair bit of work). Ie disconnect an electric oven, additional power points, ixl tastic installation, disconnect ancient hot water system. We are also looking for someone who can do gas/plumbing, we have a connection ( for our ducted gas heating) but would like to bring it over to our kitchen and install a gas oven and a new hot water system. We would also need our new kitchen plumbing connected and a dishwasher installed. Anyone able to help?

I have a few little jobs that I'd like done but don't want to pay the small fortune the bigger companies are asking.
