I'd give negative stars if that was a review option! New home buyers and Realtors….BEWARE and DO NOT use this company to inspect any homes if you want peace of mind that house you live in is actually SAFE! I am at a loss for words of the unprofessionalism of Integrity Inspections, and in my opinion, Dave DuBosque should change the name of his company, as he has NO integrity. An inspection is what seals the deal with buying a house, because if there were major issues found, they would have been addressed and fixed or I would not have bought this house. Some minor issues that he did not report or check where if all the windows worked properly, as four windows had missing or broken springs, which is a hazard if there was a fire. Also noticed that the French door locks (the ones that securely lock both doors together at the top and bottom, were painted over and the bottom “deadbolt lock” on the doors didn’t fit into the opening to securely lock the doors together. These items are fixable, but the fact they were overlooked during the inspection is unacceptable. The most flagrant disregard of the inspection Dave did was on the gas range in the kitchen. This range was not inspected as it is supposed to be during a home inspection. My 17yr old daughter turned it on to preheat one day and the smell was so bad that our eyes and noses were burning. I turned it off and asked a neighbor if they ever had issues with a gas range. He advised that it is not normal and a red flag of a gas leak. I had to call 911 and had 4 firetrucks and 2 ambulances at my house. I was told that I was lucky my house didn’t blow up with how bad the leaks were both inside and outside the house. Fire Department and Propane Company disconnected the range and tank for me and ran gas leak tests that found 5 leaks in the range and 2 by the tank. They also noted that there were NO Carbon Monoxide detectors in my house at all and with a gas range, there should have been a minimum of at least four. This is another area of the inspection he cut corners on. I changed to an electric range due to this and spent around $500 to do this. When I reached out to Dave about the gas leak, he had no remorse or empathy. His response was defensive and placed blame on my 17 yr. old daughter and said it wasn’t his problem that she probably didn’t know how to work a range. All I was requesting was for him to apologize for missing these things and reimburse me for my expenses of switching to an electric range for the safety and peace of mind of my family and Dave ignored me and my realtor and didn’t care.
