About us
Avalon Vintage was born from my idea to pursue my dream of creating a sustainable childrens and homewares brand whilst balancing being a full time mum.
Each item is made using vintage or recycled fabrics, making each gorgeous item unique and a true one off. Time is taken into choosing and matching fabrics for each order to get them perfect.
I love working with vintage and recycled fabrics as not only is reusing them great for the environment but the quality of the materials is gorgeous. Vintage and preloved fabrics are super soft and often better quality than the new fabrics available today. Each piece of fabric has a history and I love reworking them to give them a new lease of life.
I make everything from my little studio in Cardiff using my vintage 1940s singer sewing machine and overlocker to give a long lasting and professional finish.
Items can be created to any colour, pattern and size specifications of your choosing. I can also incorporate any personal items of your own including keepsake childrens clothing or a favourite item of clothing from a loved one, just contact us for more details.
All the clothing can be washed and tumble dried with your normal washing.
