  Gayle M. wrote: I cannot recommend booking this photographer for anything that is time sensitive or that can’t be rescheduled. I had booked a maternity session months in advance and the day of the shoot Becca canceled on me 20 minutes before the shoot because it was sprinkling outside. I told her it was the only day that would work for me before the baby arrived and asked for a backup plan such as a studio or inside the barn that she had recommended. She said there was no place indoors that she could do the photography shoot. I was also told that her camera shuts off when exposed to moisture so she wasn’t comfortable trying to do anything outside even under an umbrella. The session was canceled and I was left without any maternity photos. To make matters worse she canceled the newborn shoot that I had scheduled with her without confirming that I wanted it to be canceled leaving me without a photographer at 8 ½ months pregnant. She claimed when she asked if I wanted my deposit refunded and I replied yes that she assumed I wanted to cancel both shoots. Somehow overnight she managed to book a wedding on the same date as my scheduled newborn session. She did not offer an alternate date or solution. I am now trying to line up a new photographer but I am finding most are all booked up as it is only a few weeks away.
