We are 35-40 years old, getting married in April. We want someone who understands the type of music we like, is willing to take the time and work with us to give us what we want, not just top 40 or cliché wedding songs. We really want someone who knows how to keep the party going, read the crowd, ect... Any suggestions would be super helpful. Thanks!!
munroe replied:I had a co-worker recommend this company for a personal friends wedding. He did what a wedding DJ is supposed to do. Played the right music at the right time, muted the music when people got up to speak, and played progressively more modern music as the night crawled towards 1AM. He wore a suit, did not make the night about himself, and played requests if he had them. Did he play top 40 stuff and wedding garbage? Yes, but because he read the crowd as being people that would LOVE that stuff. And they did. So maybe they'll play better stuff for your wedding. Worth a call. http://www.qualityentertainment.ca/
PBRidesAgain replied:We booked http://www.qualityentertainment.ca/ Mostly because they have good reviews and they give us a discount for having one of their "preferred" venues (venue also waved rental fees for mics because we're using QE). So as your venue if they have a Perfer vendor. Have gone to several of their events they're good at reading the crowd and keeping people on the dance floor.
