  Does anyone know of a nearby animal shelter that takes injured or sickly animals? We found a very small, weak and dirty kitten this morning in the dirt on the walking trail. There were no signs of any other cats around. It looked as if the kitten had been left there. It's Sunday so most places are closed. I have no idea how to care for a kitten, but I couldn't just leave it there. Any help would be appreciated.
