About us
Milligan Valley Farms is a family owned business. We have been breeding Golden Retrievers since 1995, and have recently expanded to include Goldendoodles. What started as a love of the Golden Retriever breed, and our desire to produce structurally sound dogs both in body and mind, has become our passion. By producing solid healthy puppies we are doing our part in honoring these great breeds. Golden Retrievers are great family pets. They are loyal, gentle and lovable dogs. Goldendoodles, being a cross between, a Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle, are very intelligent, friendly, and family oriented dogs. They also have a coat that sheds very little.
We also offer dog training classes. Our classes include, but are not limited to, puppy 101, basic training, advanced training, and boundary training. We specialize in behavioral issues and will make house calls if necessary. When training dogs, our focus is on building a relationship with your dog that is based on respect. There are no treats, clicker gimmicks, or intimidation tactics. Just good old fashion; you and the dog.
