About us
Susan Lemonick, The Animal Nanny, is a lifelong dog owner and lover. In 2006, the former attorney began helping care for the pets of friends traveling out of town. Weekends and overnights turned into extended pet and house-sitting stays in the homes of her friends. Word-of-mouth recommendations resulted in about a half-dozen personal friends of Susan's bringing her into their homes on a regular basis throughout the year for their regularly scheduled vacations. And so the Animal Nanny was born. Susan truly loves all of the animals she cares for, loves taking care of them and they return in spades all the love she shows them. She has developed real relationships with her charges and they are always as excited and happy to see her as they are when their owners return home.
When you can't be there to care for your pet, The Animal Nanny is in the house!
The Nanny will perform any pet care task for which you are unavailable from daily walks and feedings, to potty breaks, to vet visits, to full daily care during absences from home, either in your home or with three daily visits for the duration of your absence. The Nanny has experience with dogs, cats, birds and other small pets. No job is too big or too small! Just ask the Animal Nanny!
