They have a variety of models, the bikes are designed to perform well, and they have a great track record for fitting people of all sizes, especially smaller-than-usual (see their petit series). The knock, other than the expense (my custom-fit light touring bike cost me $2000), is that the best performing models are more optimized to travel well (emerge from a suitcase ready to rip) than to quick-fold well. My 3-year old Bike Friday Crusoe has covered 6000 miles, survived 12 round-trips via air, and is going strong. The suitcase, OTOH, only survived the first 10. bikefriday.com Jonathan
