About us
It is my commitment to provide quality, dependable care in a safe, happy, loving and stimulating environment. As children grow in my care, it is my hope they gain the following:
· New skills (progress) across major areas of development including: Social and Emotional, Language and Communication, Cognitive and Physical and Motor
· The ability to socialize – get along with other children, share, contribute, etc. (I truly believe every child should have a "group experience" - i.e., daycare)
· A sense of security in a learning environment separate from home
· Confidence, with the understanding it's okay to be themselves, freely explore and play with peers
The foundation of my child care is built upon promoting growth (school readiness) in all areas of development, with the belief a great deal of learning is through play. I offer an informal home/family-like setting, with routine, lots of play, and a casual pre-k curriculum (weekly theme, letter/shape/color/number focus) during the school year.
In addition, I am a member of Provider's Choice (an EOE), a USDA sponsored Food Program. This means, children in my care receive a healthful breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
