I am hoping to get some other references to home schooling or charter schools that can accommodate my son who has Down Syndrome.   Can anyone point me & my wife in the right direction in filing for guardianship of our 17 yr old daughter with downs ? some info I got says we should start process before she turns 18 or else we have to hire 2 Lawyers ,one for us and one for her. Does the Downs partnership have any resources or family lawyers they can refer ?
