NEON HAIR BOUTIQUE, is like no other salon you have been to before!!
set in the leafy Clifton hill area of Brighton, this on trend salon is tucked away on Powis road, but well worth finding....
The shop doesn't give much away at first glance there's a slight flash of what's to come in the window display, which boasts a fine collection of retro walk-mans, vintage hair dryers, Americana and HUGE the tree!
Once you step inside, your given a warm greeting by Alex and Antonio and sat down with a very decent cup of fresh coffee, i notice lots of bits of original artwork on the walls some hung some just painted on. All the art work is done by local artist and constantly changes.
Alex the owner say " i opened Neon in February 2012
after working in Brighton and London, i felt like i wanted to get away from the confines of traditional British hairdressing having started training in Brighton and then getting a job with Trevor Sorbies in London, and then coming back to Brighton to work in the newly opened Lee Staffords salon i felt like i wanted to learn as much as i could about hair, and the best way to do that is practice. so i spent a year working, doing hair on a massive cruise ship and then i managed to get sponsored to work in the states for a while.
whilst working in the lazy Californian coast i had my light bulb moment about what i wanted my salon to be like, once i got back to England i opened Neon with 4 simple corner stones.
1) to give the best haircuts
2) to do the best colours
3) the customer gets whatever the customer wants
4) to serve the best cup of coffee in Brighton...
now were going into the third year and i think we delivering everything we promised and more"
