Mickie has worked for magazines such as SPIN, Louisville Magazine, and BRIDE. Mickie's fine art photography work is apart of 21c Museum Hotel's private art collection. Mickie has won many awards with her magazine and documentary photography in and out of the United States.
Mickie Winters Art is based out of Louisville Kentucky often found working outside of the Louisville area on special projects and assignments including film and video as well as multi media art collaborations . With a strong desire to collaborate and travel there is always a willingness to jump aboard just about any art related project!
Mickie also offers her volunteer or paid services in some cases teaching workshops and or giving portfolio critiques to individuals seeking career advancements or career advice or art students seeking direction. You can also inquire about booking Mickie for public speaking about her personal art and or art making.
Speciality workshops
Alternative processes : darkroom printing, van dyke printing, cyanotype printing, digital college, photo tiles, photo transfers on wood, photo transfers on any surface, wedding d.i.y. projects for bridesmaids involving photos, camera-less photography, painting on photography.
Photography: intro to photography, digital photography, photoshop, editing, lighting
Mickie has taught workshops or given professional critiques at the following colleges but is also willing to meet individually with people to meet their photography needs.
Jefferson Community College, Union College ,University of Louisville, Ivy Tech, and Spalding University.
