Disclaimer: It is up to the owner of the dog to make sure that they are fully vaccinated/ kennel cough/micro-chipped/wormed/ de-flea’d up to date. If not The Dog House does not take any responsibility for any illness or problems occurring from lack of these items being carried out. If The Dog House requires to take the dog to the vet or incurs any cost because of this then the owner accepts responsibility of paying full cost incurred back to The Dog House.
Also, …………………………..agrees that if The Dog House sees fit to bath, groom, treat ears, anal glands or trim nails, change diet or another other minor problem with your dog to assist with the dog’s own welfare…………………………….agrees for it to be carried out with an expense incurred to them including taking them to the vet.
DO YOU GIVE PERMISSION FOR YOUR DOG TO BE LET OF THE LEAD?
This is a requirement under our insurance to ask. If agreeing to this The Dog House does not take responsibility to your dog running away. It is up to the owner to make sure that their dog is micro-chipped and The Dog House will do everything in it’s power to find the dog during it’s stay, but any cost incurred will be refunded by the owner.
If your dog proves to be a nuisance in any way, The Dog House has the right to separate him/her from the others and house as necessary or contact the emergency contact to have the dog/s removed e.g. aggression to others, trying to get out of the garden etc, being in season or any disruption to the normal household at the detriment of others or themselves. But full payment is expected to cover loss of business.
Policy: The Dog House requires that they meet the dog, for a minimum of 1 hour before the first time staying to make it an easier transition for the dog when they do stay.
Dogs are to be dropped off at a convenient time for both parties and to be between 8 o’clock and 10 o’clock in the morning or between 4 o’clock and 5.30 in the afternoon. Dogs are... show more to picked up also at a convenient time for both parties and between 9 o’clock and 10 o’clock in the morning or between 4 o’clock and 6 o’clock in the evening. Any earlier drop off or later pickup requested time will be asked to have the dog to stay the night before/after and incur an additional night cost to the owner at £20 per dog per night.
Owners are required to provide dog food with full instructions for amounts and frequency of feeding, beds and lead. The Dog House does not take responsibility for the dog’s belongings, inc. any toys brought with them, getting lost or damaged.
Rates: £20 per dog per night (approx. 24 hrs.) includes walk
£15 per day between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. per dog per day.
If a dog stays for a night (24 hrs.) and a day then the owner will be charged £20 plus £15 per dog e.g. dropped off at 9 in the morning and picked up the following day at 4 p.m. = £35 per dog
Cancellation policy: A deposit of 25% is required when booking for 5 days or more and is non-refundable. If bookings or partial bookings for any amount of stay are cancelled within 2 weeks of the booked date then full payment of the original booking is required.
Cheques are to be paid when dropping your dog off to K L Davies or cash at drop off or pick up. No cards sorry. BACS payment is offered on request and again paid in full prior to drop off. The Dog House also has the right to change any policy or add policies without giving notice.
